New York City’s Most Beloved Holiday Tradition Is Back!
The New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show—a favorite New York tradition—has been making memories for over 30 years! Once again, visitors can see a beautifully crafted model of Bowne House prominently displayed as part of an enchanting display of more than 190 replicas of New York City landmarks including the Brooklyn Bridge, Yankee Stadium and the Statue of Liberty. Each model is delightfully re-created from natural materials such as birch bark, lotus pods, and cinnamon sticks by a family-run workshop in Kentucky. More than 25 G-scale model trains and trolleys add excitement to the exhibition.
The New York Botanical Garden is located at 2900 Southern Boulevard in the Bronx just 20 minutes from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan via the Metro-North Harlem local line to Botanical Garden Station. The Garden also has ample parking, several restaurants on site, and a gift shop selling books, plants, and horticultural themed items.
