We are happy to announce a new date for our Basket Weaving Workshop! After a postponement due to severe weather conditions on our previously scheduled date, this workshop will now be held on Sunday, August 27th.

What to Expect:
Participants will learn how to make a small natural wood basket like the one pictured above. The workshop will be led by Teaching Artists Myrna Perez Fung and Lilly Chu. All basket weaving materials will be supplied to participants. To properly work with the materials, they will be soaked in warm water. Participants should wear a top they don’t mind getting wet. The workshop will be held in the Bowne House garden and refreshments will be served.
