Former Bowne House resident Samuel Bowne Parsons died in 1906 at the age of 86. The second page of his Flushing Times obituary contains a paragraph memorializing his Underground Railroad activities, as does the obituary of his younger brother, Robert Bowne Parsons (below.)


Former Bowne House Resident Robert Bowne Parsons died in 1898 at the age of 77. His obituary in the Flushing Times also notes his Underground Railroad activity decades earlier.
