Join the Urban Park Rangers and members of the Historic Bowne House to learn the ancient art of weaving. This activity was historically done during the winter months using materials that were harvested and processed during warmer seasons.
Each program in the Nature’s Workshop series explores its topic in-depth and allows you to develop a skill, participate in a hands-on project, and indulge your curiosity.
Location: Participants will meet at Margaret I. Carman Green - Weeping Beech Park located at Bowne Street and 37th Avenue, Flushing. After an introduction by Park Rangers, the group will go next door to Bowne House.
